 Can't go wrong with classic! While I think the Black version is very sleek and modern (and might go for the Gothic Lolita crowd), the classic white Hello Kitty has all 3 colors in it, and will satisfy a broader crowd.
It might also be a good idea to create the Black and Pink versions as limited releases, and the White one as a general release.

Thanks for your comments. In the beginning we were thinking the black because our UK partners thought that was the way to go. But after reading the vote on Sparklebee we have decided to go with the classic.
Samples are being made now for CES and I will put the final version on Sparklebee when it is ready.

This was a tie for me I love the classic Hello Kitty but the black would be super nice for work. It looks a little more professional. So, I guess it depends on the target audience. But I would buy both.
